Greetings from the West "left" coast!

Hiya!!!! Considering I am constantly on everyone else's ass about this blog, I decided I should follow Tina and Lucia's lead and post. Life in Seattle is great as usual. I cant believe it is already Oct, where to hell did the summer go so fast?? It seems it was just May and i was back on the east coast. Time flies. I will be back on the east coast in June of '07 for Kate Place's wedding!!! It will be the party of 2007! I dont make trips east anymore in the months between Nov. - Feb. .... NO THANKS, I know what awaits me if I did. These days if need to see the white stuff, I drive to the mountains and come home.

Lets see, what to update you all on?? For those of you NOT on myspace...*cough* Tina, lol.....GET ON IT!!! Its addicting and a total time waster, if only Tom had invented this while we were all at LSC!! Here is the link to my page:

Anyway, things here are interesting as usual. After living with someone for the first 3 yrs I was in this city, I now have my own apt. I love it! I am considering going back to get my MBA at Seattle U sometime next yr. I still love my job, however our company was sold in August, so no one is sure what that means for their position with the company. Therefore I have been looking around.

As always, there is an open invitation to visit Seattle. An amazing city and tons to do.

The air is turning colder and we have had an amazing summer, that I am sure will come to a close soon here! In the next week or so, I expect the rain to begin. More reason to stay inside and drink tons of coffee! YYYYEEEEEAAAAA!!!!

Still single, which is fine by me, life is good.

Ok, so that is all for now. - Michael

Hello to anyone who is reading this! I've too been a complete slacker, and have not been posting on our lovely blog... so to anyone who's out there - BIG Hello's!!! =)

So Mat and I have moved into our condo. We love it here! Mat's birthday was May 18th, and Garrett and Michael came up and surprised us, and crashed the party that was going on at our place!! It was great though, so wonderful to see both of them, and I'm so VERY glad they were able to come!! Thanks again to both of you for making the trip. I still have yet to create a MySpace website, but i'll eventually get there... at least I'm writing on this blog again! HAHA.. =)

Anyway... some news on the homefront here... we adopted another cat!!! Grady came home last Friday evening. He's an orange and white tiger, about 9 weeks old and full of spunk!! Pippin, our 1-year old cat is really enjoying his new toy... he thanks us every day for it! =) Actually, we were very afraid they wouldn't get along, and that Pippin would feel "dethroned" (since he does rule the roost). Thankfully, they have gotten along very well, and enjoy chasing one another and wrestling. They have yet to snuggle one another, but i think it's only a matter of time... =)

That's about all on my homefront... Can't believe it's almost October! Hope everyone had a great summer!

Tina =)

LSC "Virtual" Dining Hall!

You Too Can Post Blogs for Fun and Profit!
Hey folks- I'm trying to clear my inbox, and I found an e-mail from Michael saying nobody ever blogs here except him and Dave. So I come to check it out, and find, in fact NOBODY blogs here at all, at least not since May, so here I am, Lucia, posting an extremely intelligent and well-thought-out blog. This is in fact, my secong blog ever. I got one posted on the WCSH 6 website (Brett's station) about Bruce Campbell, everyone's favorite B-Movie actor, who I got to meet recently. But when they posted it, because I'm not an employee, they credited Brett with writing it, including the line about me having a huge crush on Mr Bruce "Don't Call Me Ash " Campbell. So, basically, Brett's boss outed him to all of Maine for about 2 hours until he noticed it and got it changed.
I am currently traveling to Boston weekly to get my Master's in Library Science. I have never had more dull classes than this semester at Simmons. Ugh. At least Tim Lewis got me fired up- these just put me to sleep.
And, for excitement on the homefront, I made Brett spend more than 2 hours the other night helping me rescue the biggest mouse I've ever seen from the inept claws of our cat. In the end, at about 1:45 in the morning, we got it outside, much to everyone's relief, and to Murray's great sorrow.
Anywho, that's most of the fun here from Maine, the way life ought to be. If anyone still checks this blog, hullo.

Good Morning

Good morning all! I hope that everyone is doing well. I am writing to as for everyones prayers this week. I know that sounds kind of silly, but for the past several months I have been having these massive headaches every single day. They are growing with intensity and I have been in a lot of pain lately. I got over my stubborness, (is that even a word??), and went to my doctor. She has ordered a cat scan. Normally, I don't think I would be to over the top with concern but with what she said to me, I am a little bit freaked. She said.."I wouldn't be to concerned if your headaches were all over, but considering it is only in the right side at one spot, I think something is growing in there that shoudn't be." I have no other symptoms related to migranes, so she is a bit baffled. I tend to be a medical mystery since I had Andrew. My blood pressure has been perfect since I had him considering I always had high blood pressure and also since I had him I have had some weird skin issues that the doctors can't figure out and don't know how to treat.
Anyways, I do feel silly asking for you guys to keep me in your prayers, but I am really truly scared right now. My cat scan is tomorrow and I won't receive the results til Monday. What a way to spoil my weekend. I will be doing nothing but fretting over this the entire time.
I hope everyone is doing well and I will keep you guys posted on what is going on. Take care!

Good Morning All!

Hello everyone! Hope all is well with each of you. First I would like to congratulate Tina and Mat on there new home. That is so awsome!
Not to much is new down here in Rhode Island. We just celebrated Andrew's first birthday. I can't believe hole year has just flown by. I made him a Firetruck cake which came out a lot better then I had expected. Not bad at my first attempt for sculpting and decorating. I made him his own small peice for him to dig into and he was a riot. He was covered from head to toe in icing and cake. So cute!
He started walking a week before his birthday so now I really have my hands full. Maybe now the baby pounds I put on will start to shed off chasing him around everywhere.
I am in the process of planning his Baptism now. I wanted it done when he was much younger, but we ran into so many problems of our families not being able to get together at once. I decided that we are never going to accomidate everyone. So just go for it and who can come will come.
I am still working for Kellogg's snacks and I may get a promotion within a few weeks. I am hoping. It will be weird moving back into fulltime again, but I think I am ready. I just hope Andrew will be able to adjust to going to a day care.
My mom's and brother have decided to move to Florida within a few months. I can't believe that they are actually going to do it this time. Mom 2 (Chris) has already gotten a job and Shane my brother was told by one of the hotels to call them when he got down there. Carol is doing freelance work and can do that from anywhere. They are very excited and are pushing for me to come down with them as well, seeing as how things are not so good between Rick and I now.
All in all things are well. Hope the same is with everyone else. Take care!!!
